Chain World was launched in 2015 as an auxiliary trade name of Lapua Chains. Chain World aims to offer our customers the best and most functional chain solutions on the market. The foundations of Chain World are our products – chosen with utmost care and the strictest requirements – and the knowledge and expertise we have built up manufacturing conveyor chains. We import and sell a wide variety of high-quality chains, sprockets and other chain-related products and services to both retailers and end users. Our customers can also count on us to customise and tailor products to their needs.
Chain World’s office and warehouse are co-located with Lapua Chains in Lapua, South Ostrobothnia. Our factory also assembles chains, fits conveyor chains with flights and machines sprockets. And if what you want is an off-the-shelf solution instead, our warehouse can make it happen in no time.
D.I.D – TOP-QUALITY JAPANESE ROLLER CHAINS
D.I.D is among the best-known manufacturers of top-quality motorcycle chains in the world. That same skill and expertise is also applied to the company’s industrial chains. Nothing shows off D.I.D’s expertise quite like their X-ring chain, considered by many to be the best roller chain in the world. D.I.D also produces many other chain types. Chain World is D.I.D’s official importer and its only official retailer in Finland.
KÖBO – GERMAN EXPERTISE
KÖBO has been making chains and sprockets since 1894, which means they have over 120 years of experience in chain manufacturing and meeting their customers’ every need. Armed with this knowledge and experience, KÖBO’s engineers and technicians are always looking for even better materials and fine-tuning their manufacturing methods to ensure their products always represent the latest technology.
KÖBO are also able to manufacture a variety of special chains and sprockets. They are also able to manufacture custom flights, rollers, buckets and other designs tailored to their customers’ needs. KÖBO chain products are made at the company’s factories in Germany, Poland and China.

Founded in 1949, the Daugavpils chain factory has become one of Europe’s largest manufacturers of drive chains. The company offers high-quality chains for a wide variety of purposes.

MAXTOP – QUALITY CHAINS FROM TAIWAN
Ming Chang’s factory was founded in Taiwan in 1977. Maxtop is known for its high-quality roller chains with solid bushings and rollers. Among Maxtop’s most interesting products are their corrosion-resistant CR chain, MEGA chain and high-quality leaf chains.
SNAPIDLE – INGENIOUSLY SIMPLE PATENTED FREE-FLOATING CHAIN TENSIONERS
Patented original free-floating chain tensioners. Thanks to their ingeniously simple design, Snapidle chain tensioners are extremely quick to install and adjust. The chain rides through the tensioner on its side plates, which minimises wear on the chain. Snapidle tensions evenly, guides, quiets and increases both chain and sprocket life. It does not require a mounting device or maintenance. It also works regardless of the direction of rotation.
Snapidle chain tensioners are made in the USA out of 100% stainless steel and UHMW plastic, making them suitable for all applications, including food handling, high-moisture environments and wastewater treatment plants.

MCV – TOP-QUALITY DROP FORGED CHAINS
Manifattura Catene Viganó M.C.V. SpA was founded in 1962. The forgings for MCV’s drop forged chains are made in Italy and are machined to exacting quality standards using the latest technologies. The company also heat treats their products themselves.
